RETURN & REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from [Your Brand Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”) and is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).


1. GENERAL POLICY

We are committed to providing high-quality products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return, exchange, or refund in accordance with this policy.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under the CPA.


2. COOLING-OFF PERIOD (DIRECT MARKETING)

If your purchase was made as a result of direct marketing, you have the right to cancel the transaction within 5 business days of receiving the goods, in terms of Section 16 of the CPA.

  • Goods must be returned unused and in original packaging

  • You will be responsible for return shipping costs

  • A reasonable handling fee may apply


3. STANDARD RETURNS (NON-DEFECTIVE GOODS)

You may return non-defective goods within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

  • All tags, hygiene seals, and packaging must be intact

  • Proof of purchase is required

Important (Hygiene Products):
Due to hygiene and health regulations, certain items (including shapewear, underwear, or intimate wear) may not be returned or exchanged once opened, worn, or if hygiene seals have been removed, unless defective.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


4. DEFECTIVE / FAULTY GOODS

In accordance with Section 56 of the CPA, all goods carry an implied warranty of quality for 6 months.

If a product is defective, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to:

  • A repair, replacement, or refund (at your election)

Conditions:

  • The defect must not be due to misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear

  • The product may be inspected before a resolution is approved

We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for valid defective claims.


5. INCORRECT OR DAMAGED ORDERS

If you receive:

  • The wrong item, or

  • A damaged product

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.


6. REFUNDS

Refunds will be processed once returned items are received and inspected.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method where possible

  • Processing time: 10-15 business days

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

We reserve the right to deduct:

  • Shipping costs

  • Handling/restocking fees (where permitted by law)


7. EXCHANGES

We offer exchanges subject to stock availability.

  • If the requested item is unavailable, a store credit or refund will be issued

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect


8. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Worn or used items

  • Items without original packaging or tags

  • Clearance or sale items (unless defective)

  • Intimate wear (including shapewear) where hygiene seals are removed


9. RETURN PROCESS

To initiate a return:

  2. Include:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Supporting photos (if applicable)

  3. Wait for approval and return instructions before sending any items

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.


10. LIABILITY

We are not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage during return shipping (unless arranged by us)

  • Delays caused by courier services
